Until further notice, we're collecting electronics by appointment only!
Due to our much smaller new space, unfortunately we don't have the room to accommodate regular public dropoffs from the community at this point. We're still trying to work through our backlog of stuff after our move from Glen Flora along with keeping up with our daily incoming items from businesses that we have contracts with. Also, sometimes we're not at the shop during normal business hours, which is why we'd like everyone to contact us ahead of time to save some frustration on your part.
On the bright side, we have obtained all of the proper DNR permits and are fully operational! And just a reminder that we're now located in Ladysmith in the industrial park. We're at 1101 Barnett Rd on the west side of the "Enterprise Center". So come down the gravel driveway right off the corner by the water tower and look for our banner on the side of the building. Items with a disposal fee
Freon items (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers) - $15 charge each
Projection TVs - $30 charge each
No charge items
Computers, TVs and monitors (CRT, LCD, plasma, console), laptops, networking equipment, cell phones, tablets, printers, copy machines, VCR/DVD players, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, non-freon appliances (water heaters, humidifiers, dishwashers, stoves, washers, dryers), lead acid batteries, Li-ion & Ni-MH batteries, most small electronics, LED lights, Christmas lights, and much more!
Items not accepted
Please note, we are not a scrap yard and don't accept aluminum cans or scrap metal in exchange for payment.
Aluminum cans, Ni-Cad batteries, button batteries, alkaline batteries (alkalines can be thrown in your regular trash according to the DNR), non-LED light bulbs (incandescent & fluorescent), smoke detectors, mercury thermometers, hazardous materials, paint cans, oil, vehicles, tires, garbage, chemicals.
At this time we would rather not take Ni-cad batteries and lithium primary (button batteries) because of the cost for us to recycle them. The best option especially for button batteries is to encase them in clear packing tape and store them safely for the next Cleansweep event when it comes to town. However in 2026 the DNR is working on a new battery recycling program which we'll try to keep everyone updated on when we have some news!

Data Destruction
We destroy all hard drives and upon request we can supply a certificate of destruction with the serial number of each hard drive for a small fee.
Freon Item Disposal
We charge $15 for safe disposal of freon-containing appliances like refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers. We have our own in-house EPA certified refrigerant technician which is why we're able to offer this service for such a low price compared to others!
Business Pickup Services
Convenient pickups available for businesses using our 20ft box truck for larger loads and our cargo van for smaller loads (fees may apply depending on distance).
